Stanislawa T. "Stella" (Gasior) Lavoie, 85, of Buffinton St., Fall River, died Friday, March 27, 2009. A member of the Holy Rosary Society of Holy Cross Church and the ILGWU now UNITE, she was employed by Shelburne Shirt Co. She leaves 4 children, Jay Lavoie of Fall River, Christine Higgins (husband Christopher) of Tiverton, Steven Lavoie (wife Judy) and Patricia Frazier (husband late Junior), all of Fall River; 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Jennie Raszkiewicz and Sally Martin, both of Fall River and Esther Watson of Virginia and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Stanislaw and Mary (Wiesezckw) Gasior and the sister of the late Walter Gasior. Her funeral will be held Monday at 10:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Cross Church of Saints Peter and Paul Parish at 11:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Monday morning prior to the funeral from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
