Sonja A. (Krauzyk) Herman

Sonja Ann Herman, 85, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 26, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Anna (Klimka) Krauzyk, and her son, David P. Herman.

Sonja is survived by her sister, Maureen Cox, her daughter, MaryAnn Herman, her daughter-in-law, Connie Herman, six  grandchildren (Christina, Eric, Bianca, Louie, Shanna and Shannon); great grandchildren Kaycie, Ava, Taylor and Remington; and a niece (Kathleen).

Sonja Herman was born May 14, 1937 in Fall River, MA. Sonja lived her entire life in the city she loved.

Sonja graduated from St. Stanislaus School and Mount St. Mary’s Academy in 1954. She retired from Charlton Memorial as a housekeeper. Sonja loved watching movies, listening to music, Country and Elvis, especially. She was quite a dancer and loved doing it! She loved reading mysteries and was a fan of James Patterson. She loved to travel and visiting relatives in New Mexico and Arizona.  Sonja's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, March 13th at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Cathedral, Spring St. Fall River.
