Silvestre Antunes

Silvestre Antunes, 89, of So. Beach St., Fall River, husband of the late Ana (Goncalves) Antunes, died Wednesday, August 26, 2009. The former owner of Muffin King Bakery, he was also employed by Essex Manufacturing. He leaves 2 children, Joseph Antunes and his wife Crystal and Ann Marie Antunes, all of Westport, MA; 2 grandsons, Derek and Joshua Antunes; siblings, Piedade Dias and Manuel Antunes, both of Fall River and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Jose Joaquim and Maria (da Costa) Antunes and the brother of the late Gracinda Goncalves and Antonio Antunes. His funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Good Shepherd Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Sunday 5:00 to 9:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
