Sidney J. Raposa, Jr.,
84, of Tiverton, passed away Tuesday, August
9, 2022 at Rhode Island Hospital.
Sid was a retired truck driver for several
trucking companies and was a member of the
Teamsters Union.

He was a NASCAR fan and in his younger days
would race at Seekonk Speedway. He was also a
certified scuba diver and a Harley Davidson
enthusiast.

Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late
Sidney J. Raposa Sr. and the late Mary L.
(Rocha) Raposa.
He was predeceased by two siblings, Virginia
(Raposa) Cashmon and James Raposa.
He leaves a sister-in-law,  Shirley Raposa of
Swansea, Ma., two nephews, James Raposa of
Cumberland, RI and Edward Almeida of Stuart,
FL; two nieces, Donna LaFleur of Portsmouth,
RI and Virginia Thomas of Hood River, Oregon.
He also leaves Ryan Camara.
