Shirley A. (Peckham) Pineault

Shirley A. (Peckham) Pineault, 85, wife of the late Raymond W. Pineault, of Tiverton, died Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at home with her family by her side.

She was employed by Saint Anne’s Hospital from 1980 until she retired in January 2000. She started working in the registration department and retired as the operating room scheduler. Shirley was an active member of St. Christopher Parish, serving as a Eucharistic Minister and was a former member of the Women's Guild.  She was a member of the Tiverton Senior Center for many years. Shirley generously gave of her time and talent knitting blankets and sweaters with the other members all to be donated to those in need. She also enjoyed the time she spent with the friends she made at the center playing cards.

Shirley leaves three children, Christopher Pineault of Tiverton, Jeffrey Pineault of Fall River and Renee Deschenes and her husband Richard of Tiverton; a granddaughter, Celanie Norman of Dighton; three sisters, Muriel Gamache of Somerset, Penny Barnes of Tiverton and Cynthia Wilkey of Maryland; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late infants Kenneth and Raymond Pineault; and the daughter of the late Wesley and Evangeline (Rousseau) Peckham.

Following cremation, her Funeral Mass will be held  Monday, February 7, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Christopher Church, Tiverton. The family will greet guests at the church starting at 9:00 AM.
