Sharon A. Soderstrom

Sharon A. Soderstrom, 68, formerly of Harbor Terrace and Covel St., Fall River, died Saturday, July 13, 2013. A 17 year employee of Duro Finishing Co. and an independent sales representative, she was also a Senior Aide at the Fall River Career Center. A member of the Harbor Terrace Reunion Committee, she loved Wildflowers, was an avid Bingo Player, enjoyed Foxwoods and cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She leaves 3 children, Lt. Shawn C. Soderstrom, FRFD, Lori A. Soderstrom Santos and Tara A. Soderstrom; her loving niece Melissa Tavares who she cared for like a mother; grandchildren, Shandel Soderstrom, Sabrina, Sarah and Corrina Santos, Nolan Wallace and Landen Santos; and a sister, Mary Lou Ouellette, all of Fall River and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Gertrude (Ollis) Soderstrom and Thomas Soderstrom and and the sister of the late Thomas A. Soderstrom. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Mary Cathedral at 10:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Tuesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Family and friends are welcome to wear their favorite perfumes and colognes with a smile. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
