Samuel R. Taylor

Samuel R. Taylor, 88, of Shawomet Ave., Somerset, formerly of Forest St., Fall River, husband of the late Rita C. (Griffin) Taylor, died Monday, December 26, 2011. He leaves daughters, Janice Malmborg and her husband Vic of North Kingstown, RI, and Nancy Pappas and her husband Ed of Marshfield, MA; grandchildren, Alison Thorson, Greg Malmborg, Sarah Johnson, Becky Pappas and Melissa Pappas; and great-grandchildren, Emily, Rachel, Sammy, Jack and Lila. A Navy veteran of WW II and retired Letter Carrier, he was the son of the late Samuel and Catherine (Griffin) Taylor. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 6:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Wednesday prior to the service from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
