Ruth (Perry) Caron

Ruth (Perry) Caron, 88, of Somerset, formerly of Fall River, widow of Henry L. Caron, died Thursday, July 21, 2011. A member of ILGWU, now UNITE, she was formerly employed by Center Garment. A Red Sox fan, she enjoyed bingo, visiting Atlantic City with her late husband, playing cards and TV game shows. She leaves 3 children, Diane Vasconcelles (husband late Manuel) of Little Compton, Steven Caron of Tiverton, and David Caron (wife Anne) of Danvers; and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Manuel and Sally (Pontes) Perry, and the sister of the late Mary Sirek, Caroline Kazen, Evelyn O'Brien, and Arthur Perry. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Good Shepherd Church at 9:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Saturday morning prior to the funeral from 7:30 to 8:30 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
