Rouville Z. "Pop" Cousineau, 86, of Brayton Ave., Fall River, formerly of Tiverton, husband of Rita (Barrette) Cousineau, died Sunday, January 6, 2008. The son of the late Joseph and Lumina (Cote) Cousineau, he was employed by Firestone Rubber, Avon Sole, Pleasant Supermarket and Raytheon Co. A member of Council 86, Knights of Columbus, for over 20 years he was National Little League umpire in chief and was a drummer with the Carnation Trio. Besides his wife of 65 years, he leaves, 4 children, Annette Lapointe and her husband Henri, Raymond Cousineau and his wife Laura, Roger Cousineau and his wife Muriel, all of Fall River and Dennis Cousineau of Fall River and his wife Debra J. of Somerset; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Romeo Cousineau of Swansea and nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Leo and Armand Cousineau, Germaine Sirois and Mariette Desrosiers. His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church at 10:00 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation, Tuesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
