Rose (Bedard) Dominion, 86, of Catholic Memorial Home, Fall River, formerly of Blackstone St., widow of Joseph W. Dominion, died Saturday, June 28, 2008.
A member of ILGWU-UNITE, she was employed by Stella Anne Frocks and was a Fall River Police Dept. crossing guard. She enjoyed knitting and sewing and cherished spending time with her granddaughters.
She leaves a daughter, Connie M. Lemieux and her husband Henry of Dartmouth, MA; granddaughters, Shaina Lee and Amanda Rose Lemieux; a sister-in-law Mary "Connie" Berube and nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Calvin and Estelle (Rioux) Bedard and the sister of the late Paul Bedard and Mary Meier.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 11:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
Visitation, Tuesday morning prior to the funeral from 9:00 to 10:30 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA AND BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
