Rosalie (Canuel) Martel

Rosalie (Canuel) Martel, 100, of Fall River, wife of the late Oscar R. "Red" Martel,

passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023. She was employed by Tioga Sportswear.

She was the mother of Richard A. Martel ( wife Linda), Doris J. Copley, and the late  Robert E. Martel (wife Margaret);

Grandmother of Christopher Copley, Scott Copley (wife Daphne), Wendy Rapoza, Lisa Hackett and Richard P. Martel (wife Jen); Great-grandmother of Kelsey and Madison Rapoza, Eric, Nathan and Chace Hackett, Riley Martel and Colin and Connor Copley, Lily and Gracie Martel;

Sister of Jeanne Gagnon and Claudette Pacheco and the late Eugene Canuel, Jean “Mickey” Canuel, David “Aime" Canuel, Paul Canuel, Bernadette Powers and Theresa Cadieux; She also leaves many nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of the late Elzear and Imelda (Rouillard) Canuel.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.  Her funeral will be held Wednesday, January 18, at 9:00 A.M. from the funeral home, with a Funeral Mass at Good Shepherd Church at 10:00 A.M. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
