Rosa Fernandes (Filipe) Estudante, 82, of Coral St., Fall River, wife of the late Armando Estudante, died Thursday, January 17, 2013. A master seamstress, born in Gafanha da Nazaré, é�lhavo, Aveiro, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Domingos Fernandes and Rosa (Casqueira) Filipe. She was an avid reader and writer, several of her novels being published in New Bedford's Portuguese Times Newspaper. She loved stage acting and put on many variety shows in Greater New Bedford. She leaves 4 children, Armando Estudante and his wife Lucilia of New Bedford, Domingos Estudante of Philadelphia, PA, George Estudante and his wife Zoila of Marion, MA, and Dulce Rock and her husband Raymond of Fall River; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings in Portugal and nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held Monday at 10:15 AM at Calvary Temple Assembly of God, 4321 No. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation, in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So.
