Ronald M. Higgins

Ronald M. Higgins, 50, of Fall River, formerly of New Bedford, died at home on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, following a long illness. He was the husband of 25 years to Paula M. (Duarte) Higgins. Born in Boston on July 13, 1964, he was employed by C.R. Laurence Co., Taunton, as an Assistant Branch Manager, retiring due to illness. A sports fan, he liked watching NASCAR and hockey. He especially loved spending time with his family. Survivors include two children, Eric L. Duarte (fiancée Kathy Harding) of New Bedford and Jessica Ann Higgins of Fall River, (Jessica's boyfriend Jon Perry of Taunton), 3 granddaughters, Jocelyn Harding, Brielle Harding and Giana Duarte; his parents, Richard and Roberta (Corbett) Bennett of Boston; a sister, Nancy Guinan of Hyde Park, nieces, nephews and cousins. A visitation will be held Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 South Main St. Fall River, MA 02721. Please omit flowers.
