Rolande B. (Couture) Deschene, 82, of Bulgarmarsh Rd., Tiverton, formerly of Raymond St., Fall River, widow of Normand J. Deschene, died Friday, January 16, 2009. She was employed by Elbe File and Binder.
She leaves 5 sons, Normand Deschene (Joy) of Lowell, Donald Deschene (Nancy) of Westport, Robert Deschene of Fall River, Michael Deschene (Christine) of Tiverton and Paul Deschene (Beth Pacheco) of Fall River; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Katherine, Joey, Kyle, Don, Katie, Cory, Christopher, Matthew, Jennifer, Michael, Melissa, Jordan and Chelsea Deschene; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Remi Couture and Rita Vaillancourt, both of Fall River and nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Lazare and Rose (Ouellette) Couture and the sister of the late Romeo, Rene, Roland and Roger Couture.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church at 10:00 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum.
Visitation, Monday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
