Roland E. Valois

December 22, 1929 — August 29, 2017

Roland E. Valois, 87, of Fall River, a retired Longshoreman, husband of the late Eleanor "Nora" (Bensen) Valois, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017.

An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a member of AMVETS and the VFW.

He leaves two daughters, Teresa and Jane Valois, both of Fall River; five sons, Alan (Donna), Ronald (Ginger), Philip (Sherrie) and Roland (Irene) Valois, all of Fall River and Charles Valois of Oxford, ME; grandchildren, Alan (Danielle), Ryan (Chelsea), Jordan, Ashley, Nolan, Allyson, Madison and Savannah Valois and Kristina Gregory; great-grandchildren, Lincoln and Clinton Valois and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Frederick and Aurianna (Robert) Valois and the brother of the late Raymond, Arthur, Rene and Vincent Valois.

Visitation at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, Friday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM with a funeral service at 10:00 AM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. Interment, Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Please omit flowers. Donations may be made to Beacon Hospice, 182 No. Main St., Fall River MA 02721.
