Roland H. Senechal

Roland H. Senechal, 85, of Riverview St., Fall River, husband of the late Grace (Viens) Senechal, died Wednesday, November 10, 2010. He was an Army veteran of WW II and a communicant of the former St. Patrick Church. A carpenter, "Senechal Brothers", he built numerous homes in Somerset and Swansea and later, as a union carpenter, worked on notable projects including the Braga Bridge. He leaves 4 children, Roland E. Senechal and his wife Terry of CA, Joyce Amadeo and James Senechal, both of Fall River and Elaine Rogers and her husband Stephen of Onset, MA; grandchildren, Suzanne Fisher (husband John), Joseph and Mark Amadeo, Thomas Rogers (wife Tina), and Timothy Rogers (wife Katherine); great-grandchildren, C.J., Cierra and Shiyann Amadeo and Lily, Charlie and Elizabeth Rogers. He was the son of the late Horace and Marie Louise (Gendron) Senechal and the brother of the late Yvonne Masson, Marion Sexton, Germaine Tallman and Aime, Jules, Ferdinand, Anselm and Gustave Senechal. A funeral mass for family and relatives will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM in the Chapel of Catholic Memorial Home, 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, for family and relatives prior to the mass, opposite the chapel, from 8:30 to 9:30 AM. Funeral arrangements entrusted to AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME. Please omit flowers.
