Roland A. Cote

Roland A. Cote, 89, of Tiverton, formerly of Fall River, husband of the late Evelyn (Frates) Cote, died Wednesday, April 1, 2015. A Navy veteran of WW II, he was a carpenter with the Fall River Housing Authority for many years. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family. He leaves three children, Peggy Read and her husband Dennis of Assonet, and Barbara Dubuque and her husband Michael and Edward R. Cote and his wife Madeleine, all of Fall River; grandchildren, Lori Margetta, Jonathan Read, Alexandra Cote and Nicholas Cote; great-grandchildren, Jakob and Jillian Margetta, Adrianna Simas and Ja-nalee Read; a brother, Roger Cote and his wife Linda of Fall River; his companion Evelyn (Cotta) Massey of Tiverton and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Arthur Cote and Yvonne (Bordes) Cote Caron. His funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Bernard Church, Assonet, at 10:00 a.m. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Monday morning prior to the funeral from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. LARGE PARKING AREA & BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
