Roland J. Beaulieu

Roland J. "Ro" Beaulieu, 89, of Westport, formerly of Somerset, husband of the late Rose (Viveiros) Beaulieu passed away Monday, December 17, 2018.

An Army Veteran of the Korean War, he was the former owner and operator of Roland's Barber Shop on Rodman St., Fall River and was also employed by Dover Stamping, E A Johnson, L&S Precision Metal and Green Moving and Storage. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 228 Somerset and St. Joseph's Parish and enjoyed building doll houses and wood crafts.

He leaves a daughter, Michelle Solomon and her husband Edward of Plymouth; three grandchildren, Carlos Solomon, Kristin Solomon and Michelle Yacavone and her husband Donald; six great-grandchildren, Jonathan Yacavone, Julia Yacavone, Allie Ridge, Sarah Ridge, Kyle Ridge, and Jordan Solomon. and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joseph Boucher, George "Pete" Beaulieu and Theresa Medeiros and the son of the late Joseph and Natalie (Berube) Beaulieu.

His Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, January 3rd at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church Fall River. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
