Roger R. Rousseau

Roger R. Rousseau, 84, of Summer St., Somerset, husband of the late Rita (Proulx) Rousseau, died Saturday, April 28, 2012. A Navy veteran of WW II, he was a self employed master carpenter and builder, construction foreman for Stop & Shop Supermarkets and Bradlees, and shop foreman for Stop & Shop. He was a member of the Carpenter's Union, Local 424. He leaves daughters, Denise Hebert of New Port Richey, FL, and Michele C. "Midge" Rousseau of Somerset; grandchildren, Bethany Swindelles (Nicole Samiagio) of Westerly, RI, and Edward Swindelles (Emily) of Vernon, CT; a great-grandson, Nathan Swindelles; a brother, Ronald Rousseau (Norma) of Fall River; and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Emile and Rosa (Limoges) Rousseau; and the brother of the late Lorraine Rousseau, Rita Auger, Doris Kulungian, and Clarice Jupin. His funeral mass was held Tuesday at 11:00 AM in St. Louis de France Church, Swansea. Burial was in Nathan Slade Cemetery, Somerset.
