Roger Lauzon

December 20, 1920 — May 6, 2006

Roger "Buck" Lauzon, 85, of Charles St., Fall River, died Saturday, May 6, 2006 at Highlander Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was the husband of Marie Loretta (Beaudoin) Lauzon. Born in Dartmouth, the son of the late David and Yvonne (Vigeant) Lauzon, he lived in Fall River most of his life. He worked for the former Cloutier Lumber Hauling for 17 years and operated Roger Lauzon Excavating Contractors for 43 years, retiring in 1990. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of WW II, a member of Local 526, Teamsters Union, the Franco-American Civic League and Good Shepherd Parish and a former member of St. Anne Fraternity and the former Blessed Sacrament Parish. Besides his wife of 64 years, survivors include a son, Roger David Lauzon and his wife Marianne of Fall River, a grandson, David Lauzon and nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Good Shepherd Church at 11:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours Monday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and barrier-free entrance to the rear of funeral home. Donations may be made to Alzheimer's Assn., 311 Arsenal St., Watertown MA 02472.
