Roger F Forcier

Roger F. Forcier, 73, of 87 Newhall St. Fall River, died Saturday, October 28, 2006 at Boston Medical Center. Born in Fall River, the son of the late Edmond J. and Alice (Gagnon) Forcier, he lived on Newhall St. his entire life. He was educated in the Fall River School System. Mr. Foricer was employed by the Fall River Gas Company for 35 years and was a member of the Utility Workers Union of America AFL-C10 Local 431. He was previously employed as a barber. An avid pigeon flyer, he was a former member of the Maplewood, Avon and Tiverton Pigeon Clubs. An Air Force veteran of the Korean War, he earned the rank of Staff Sergeant. His survivors include his beloved Rita, Diane and the late William; a brother, Robert E. Forcier of Fall River, a nephew, Edmond Messier of Fall River, 3 nieces, Janet Scanlon and Michelle Cummings, both of Fall River and Julie Grace of Maryland; He was the brother of the late Lorraine Messier and Maurice Forcier. Funeral and burial at Notre Dame Cemetery were private.
