Roger Desrosiers

Roger Desrosiers, 83, of Fall River, co-owner of the former H. Desrosiers & Sons Lumber Co., son of the late Horace and Rosalie (Plamondon) Desrosiers and the brother of the late Joseph Norman Desrosiers, entered into rest Thursday, July 7, 2016.

Along with his late brother, he operated the family lumber company for many years and was a community sports and recreation benefactor and volunteer.

He leaves his sister-in-law, Pauline (Brisson) Desrosiers formerly of Tiverton; nephews and a niece. Mark Desrosiers, Paul Desrosiers and Monique des Rosiers and her daughter, Cecile-Jeanne.

His funeral will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a committal service at the Mausoleum Chapel of Notre Dame Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.

Visitation, Monday morning prior to the funeral from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
