Roger Camara

Roger Camara, 82, of American Legion Highway, Westport, formerly of Robert St., died Thursday, November 24, 2005. Born in Fall River, the son of the late Antonio and Maria (Raposa) Camara, he lived in Westport most of his life. A carpenter, along with his late father, he operated A. Camara and Sons Construction for many years. A Navy veteran of WW II, he was a former member of the Portuguese American War Veterans, Fall River and the American Legion, Westport. Survivors include 2 brothers, Gene Camara and Albert Camara, both of Fall River; 3 sisters, Norma DeSouza, Dolores Silvia and Delta Moniz, all of Westport and nieces and nephews including William P. Camara and his wife Irene with whom he resided. He was the brother of the late Joseph Camara and Henry Camara. His funeral is private. Calling hours and flowers omitted.
