Robert J. Thibeault

Robert J. Thibeault, 68, of Merton St., Somerset, formerly of Fall River, husband of Claire (Soares) Thibeault, died Sunday, August 15, 2010. He was employed by Couture Auto Body and Empire Chevrolet, Fall River, Auto Show, Seekonk, Fall River Municipal Incinerator, and Auto Zone, Somerset. A NASCAR fan and Harley-Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast, he enjoyed archery and collected die-cast model car replicas. Besides his wife of 51 years, he leaves 6 children, Robert Thibeault (wife Cheryl) and Kim Moniz (husband William) all of Swansea, Joyce Rogala (husband late Raymond), Alan R. Thibeault and Michelle King, all of Fall River and Michael Thibeault of Somerset; 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Thibeault of Lake Panasoffkee, FL. He was the son of the late Jean B. Omer and Irene (Morin) Thibeault. His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
