Robert L. Tache

Robert "Bob" Tache',91, died Thursday, November 22, 2012 at Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River. Prior to his admission to the home he lived on Highland Ave. A graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Yorktown(CV 10). He operated the Robert L. Tache' Barber Shop on Brayton Ave. for over 55 years. At the time of his retirement he was one on the oldest active barbers in New England and a member of the Master Barbers Association. He is survived by two brothers, Gerald T. Tache' of Stuart, Florida and Roger P. Tache' of Fall River and their spouses and several nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Robert and Malvina (Talon) Tache' and brother of the late Jeannette Charest and Doris Comiskey. A private memorial service will be held in the Mausoleum Chapel of Notre Dame Cemetery . Donations to Catholic Memorial Home, 2446 Highland Ave., Fall River MA 02720 appreciated.
