Robert Lee Pitts

Robert L. "Bob" Pitts, 85, of Fall River, formerly of Riverside, RI, beloved companion of Suzanne Dedrick and husband of the late Mary Pitts, died Friday, March 29, 2013. Besides his companion of 28 years and her children Brian Dedrick (wife Christine) and Alison Pimentel (husband Ricardo) and their children, Skylaih and Rhyse, he leaves his children Robert Pitts, Jr. and his wife Diane of The Villages, FL and Patricia Mello (late husband Charles) of Cumberland, RI; grandchildren, Tammy Buccella (husband William), Rebecca Pitts and Robert Heidrick and great-grandchildren, Billy and Tabytha Buccella. He was the father of the late Mary Heidrick (husband late Joseph). A barber and school photographer, he had operated Bob's Barber Shop, East Providence and was a Navy veteran of WW II, a member of American Legion, RI Post 10, and Past Master of Masonic Lodge # 39. His funeral service will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Tuesday morning prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers. His private burial of cremated remains took place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence on April 23, 2013.
