Robert E. Picard

Robert E. Picard, 95, of Clearwater, FL, formerly of Fall River, husband of Theresa E. (Pacioni) Picard, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021.

A graduate of Msgr. Prevost High School, he was a US Navy Veteran of WWII. He was an office manager at Gulf Oil Co. Robert was a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul in FL, Nease Hospital and Pasadena Hospital. He was also an avid Red Sox fan.

Besides his wife of 47 years, he leaves four children, Denise Ouellette, Roger Picard (wife Linda), Pierrette Picard, Paul Picard; four step-children, Michael Thornton, Stephen Thornton, Thomas Thornton (wife Nuttanicha) and Theresa Wood (husband Edward); five grandchildren, Nathan Ouellette, Andrea Rodrigues, Leann Babcock, Timothy Picard and Michelle Picard; four great-grandchildren, Jenna, Maya, Travis and Grayson and many nieces and nephews. He was the former husband of the late Cecile (Jean) Picard and the son of the late Aime and Blanche (LeClerc) Picard.

His funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Church, Somerset at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.

A visitation will be held Sunday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
