Robert E. "Mickey" Parent

Robert E. "Mickey" Parent, 92, formerly of Fulton St., Fall River, husband of the late Antoinette M. (Boisclair) Parent, passed away comfortably in his sleep on Sunday, December 24, 2017.

A former employee of Riveredge Print, his hobbies included woodworking and making puzzles and he enjoyed spending time at the Niagara Senior Center.

Survivors included a son, Robert J. Parent, Sr. and his wife Lucille T. of Tiverton, two grandchildren, Lt. Jennifer Farias, FRFD EMS of Tiverton and CPO, Robert J. Parent, Jr. USCG and his wife Valerie L. of Vineyard Haven, M.V.; three siblings, Cecile Tavares (husband Alfred) of Fall River, Omer A. Parent (wife Joanne) of Somerset and Lorraine Morrissette of MD; six great-grandchildren, James R. Farias, Lucas A. Oliveira and Robert M., Eli J., Isaac L. and Veda L. Parent. He was the son of the late Ernest E. and Clara (Charest) Parent, the brother of the late Gerard and Raymond Parent, Jeannette Hart and the companion of the late Olive Rioux.

His funeral will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Joseph Church, at 11:00 a.m. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.

Visitation Thursday morning prior to the funeral from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
