Robert E. Murphy, Jr.

Robert E. Murphy, Jr., 50, of Hartwell St., Fall River, died Saturday, July 18, 2009. A fisherman, welder, hazard material handler and avid pool player, he served in the Navy and was a member of the American Legion, Post 314. He was the son of Maureen (Silvia) Murphy Guinen of NC and the late Robert E. Murphy, Sr.; the father of Robert and Shawn Patrick Murphy and Rachelle Botelho; the brother of Robin, Kathleen, Timothy and Kevin Murphy and the late Mark and Brian "Kelly" Murphy; the stepson of Maureen (Arruda) Gomez Murphy of Tiverton, RI and Richard Guinen of NC; the stepbrother of David, Stephen and Robert Gomez and the beloved friend and companion of Linda (Souza) Camara. A funeral service will be held Wednesday evening at 7:30 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Visitation, Wednesday prior to the service from 5:30 to 7:30 PM.
