Robert R. Latinville, Sr.

Robert R. Latinville Sr., 83, of Fall River, husband of Patricia (Champoux) Latinville, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018.

An Army Veteran on the Korean War, he served in both the Army and the Army National Guard. He worked for 31 years for the Newport Naval Base as a truck driver. He was also a pallbearer for Boyko Funeral Home, Fall River. He served as a sacristan and Eucharistic Minister at St. Peter and Paul's Parish, where he was also awarded the Marian Medal. A member of the La Salette Shrine music ministry, he was also the past president of St. Vincent De Paul Society and a hospice volunteer at St. Anne's Hospital.

Besides his wife of 63 years, he leaves his five children, Robert Latinville Jr. and his wife Elaine of Fall River, David A. Latinville of Somerset, Lisa A. Pineault and her husband Robert, Denise L. Pineault and her husband David, and Jennifer A. Freitas and her husband Jason all of Fall River; 3 siblings, Donald Latinville and Pauline Britland of Fall River and Phyllis Motta of Somerset; 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews; He was the son of the late Rene D. and Loretta (Vautrin) Latinville.

His funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Holy Trinity Church, 951 Stafford Rd., Fall River at 10:00 AM. Interment, Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery Rd.,Bourne.
