Robert W. Larocque

Robert W. Larocque, 95, of Tiverton, husband of Eleanor M. (Farias) Larocque, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018.


A graduate of Msgr. Prevost High School, he was a 40 year employee of Anderson-Little where he was the manager of Shipping & Receiving. A proud U.S. Army veteran of WWII and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, he enjoyed stamp collecting, big band music and jazz and was a fan of all New England Sports Teams; and he was the biggest fan of his 6 grandchildren.


Besides his wife of 63 years, he leaves three children, Roberta Medeiros and her husband Manny of Taunton, MA, Stephen Larocque and his wife Kelly of Weston, MA and Christina Picioccio and her husband Edward of Boerne, TX; and six grandchildren, Colin, Cameron and Remy Larocque and Amanda, Melissa (Russell) and Stephanie Picioccio. He was the son of the late Zephir and Grace (Meagher) Larocque and the brother of the late Edward Larocque.


His funeral service will be held Saturday at 8:30 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Internment, Newport Memorial Park, Middletown, RI.

Visitation, Saturday morning prior to the service from 7:30 to 8:30 AM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
