Robert W. Harrington

June 16, 1929 — November 22, 2019

Robert William Harrington, 90, of Swansea, formerly of Fall River, husband of the late Virginia H. (Hanley) Harrington, passed away peacefully in Rhode Island Friday, November 22, 2019.

A graduate of Durfee High School, Robert served in the Army in Texas during the Korean War. He spent several years as data processing manager at St. Peters College in Bayonne, NJ. Robert retired as a manager for Textron, Providence, and was a member of the Data Processing Management Assn. of New England.  He enjoyed traveling, making several trips to Ireland to visit with relatives. He and Virginia once did a 10,000 mile camping tour of the National Parks.

He leaves his sister, Margaret Kolakowski of Swansea and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Francis H. Harrington and the son of the late Robert E. and Nettie (Norsworthy) Harrington.

Visitation at Auclair Funeral Home kindly omitted. His Funeral Mass will be held Dec 2 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church. Burial, St. Patrick's Cemetery.
