Robert A. "Kidd" Desrochers

Robert A. "Kidd" Desrochers, 88, of Riverview Towers, Milliken Blvd., Fall River, formerly of Spencer St., husband of the late Theresa "Terry" (Drapeau) Desrochers, died Tuesday, August 21, 2012. An Army veteran of WW II and Purple Heart Medal recipient, he was a USPS Letter Carrier for 34 years. We was a member of the South End Athletic Club and the Somerset Senior Citizens Bowling League and a former Director of the Postal Workers Credit Union. He leaves two daughters, Pauline Larue and her husband Paul of Middleboro and Lin Souza of Fall River; grandchildren, Peter LaRue (Robin), Steven Larue (Michelle) Andrew LaRue (Dee-Ann), and Jessica Souza; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Jillian, Aimee, Sam, Caroline, Emily, Alex, Natalie and Aaron; and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late George and Virginie (Viens) Desrochers; and the brother of the late Rodolphe Desrochers, Georgette Brault, Beatrice Blais and Rene Desrochers. His funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Visitation, Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Please omit flowers.
