Robert A. Desbiens

Robert A. Desbiens, 78, of Somerset, passed away December 22, 2023.

He was the husband of Ruth A. (Fragoza) Desbiens. They shared 54 years of marriage.

Robert was employed by Texas Instruments, FedEx and Home Depot.  He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. Robert enjoyed flying planes, painting, and was a self taught stock broker.

Besides his wife, he leaves three children, Diane Murphy (husband Chris), Mark Desbiens (wife Stephanie) and Michelle Soares (husband Randy); grandchildren, Tommy Soares, Aiden Murphy and Mark Desbiens, Jr. and he was the grandfather of the late Tyler Soares; Three siblings, Norman Desbiens (wife Sarah), Claire Schoonover (husband Ron) and Denise Sherman; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday , December 26th From 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St. Fall River.

His Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday 12/27 at 9:00AM from Auclair Funeral Home with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in  Holy Trinity Church, Stafford Road, Fall River.

Burial will be private.
