Robert L. Casey, 68, of Parker St., Pawtucket, RI, formerly of Fall River, died Monday, September 25, 2006 at Elmhurst Extended Care, Providence, after a battle with cancer. He was the husband of the late Pauline Casey, the former husband of Jeanne Casey-Reed of Fall River, and the former companion of Barbara Gramza of Central Falls. Born in Fall River, the son of the late Able and Marion (Plante) Casey, he lived in Pawtucket for several years and in Fall River most of his life. Mr. Casey was employed as a painter. He enjoyed music and was the drummer in a local band. A soccer player, he was a member of a local soccer team. He was a peacetime veteran of the Army. Besides his former wife and his former companion, his survivors include, a son, Lenny Casey and his wife Jodi of Methuen, MA; 3 daughters, Bernice Potvin of Fall River and Doreen Warner and Terry Gramza, both of Central Falls, RI; a sister, Fall River City Councilor Patricia "Pat" Casey of Fall River, 4 brothers, Arthur Casey of Connecticut, Norman Casey and Edward Casey, both of Fall River, Roland Casey of Barrington, RI, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Brian Casey and the brother of the late Richard Casey. Calling hours Wednesday, September 27, 2006 from 4 to 8 PM with a funeral service at 7:30 PM. in AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 S. Main St. Fall River. Cremation to follow.
