Rita C. (Griffin) Taylor

Rita C. (Griffin) Taylor, 86, of Shawomet Ave., Somerset, formerly of Forest St., Fall River, wife of Samuel R. Taylor, died Saturday, September 5, 2009. Besides her husband of 61 years, she leaves 2 daughters, Janice Malmborg and her husband Vic of No. Kingstown, RI and Nancy Pappas and her husband Ed of Marshfield, MA; 5 grandchildren, Alison Thorsen, Greg Malmborg, Sarah Johnson, Becky Pappas and Melissa Pappas; great-grandchildren, Emily, Rachel, Sammy, Jack and Lila; a sister, Sister Elizabeth Griffin of Bristol, RI and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Annie (Level) Griffin and the sister of the late Daniel, Claire, Dorothy, Edward and James Griffin, Veronica Wilson, Katherine Springer and Margaret Mellor. Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Mary Cathedral at 10:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Tuesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
