Rita E. Spurgin

Rita E. (Bellenoit) Spurgin, 85, of Fall River died Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the Sarah Brayton Nursing Home, Fall River, MA. An educator, she held a Masters Degree and taught throughout the United States for forty years. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Ovila and Marie Louise (Proulx) Bellenoit. She is survived by a sister, Louise Boutin of Fall River and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John Bellenoit and Jeannette Weeden, Lorraine Levesque, Sister Louis Joseph Bellenoit, SSJ, and Maurice "Mike" Bellenoit. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Auclair Funeral Home. Visitation prior to the service from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Service to begin at 1:00. Large parking area and barrier free entrance at rear of funeral home.
