Rita Victoria (Raymond) Schenck

Rita Victoria (Raymond) Schenck, 81, of Plymouth Ave., Fall River, died Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Saint Anne's Hospital. She was the wife of Raymond A. Schenck. A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Victoria (Desrosier) Raymond. With her husband, she founded Fall River Modern Printing Co. and served as secretary-treasurer for 59 years. In her youth she worked for her family at the former Raymond's Nashua Street Variety. Besides her husband of 64 years, she leaves 2 daughters, Carol Johnson of Weymouth and Jacqueline Branco and her husband Kenneth of Lakeville; 5 sons, Richard Schenck and his wife Donna, Ronald Schenck, Raymond Schenck and Robert Schenck and his wife Paula, all of Fall River and Donald Schenck and his wife Theresa of Swansea; a brother, Joseph Norman Raymond of Somerset; 13 grandchildren, Richard, Dawn, Heather, Daniel, Samantha, Darren, Jessica, Kimberly, Donald, Lelynd, Xander, Koen and Hannah; 8 great-grandchildren, Corey, Nicholas, Owen, Bethany, Cameron, Nathan, Madison and Jordan; 2 great-great grandchildren, Tyler and Trent and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Roger R. Schenck and the grandmother of the late Jeffrey Branco. Her funeral will be held Friday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 9:00 AM. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
