Rita (Michaud) O'Brien

Rita (Michaud) O'Brien, 89, of Davis Rd., Westport, widow of Alexander O'Brien, died unexpectedly, at home, Monday, November 21, 2011. She was employed by Kerr Thread and Elbe File. She was the mother of the late Patricia Smith; the mother-in-law of Kenneth J. Smith, Sr. (wife Denise) of Westport; the grandmother of Robin Morin (husband Dennis), Kim Bernier (fiancé David Berube) and Kenneth J. Smith, Jr., the great-grandmother of Christopher Notarangelo (wife Sarah), Aaron Notarangelo, Shawn Bernier, Jessica Bernier and Lindsie Morin; and also leaves nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Blanche (Fontaine) Michaud; and the sister of the late Jeannette Mathews, Albert Fontaine, and Roland, Leo and Normand Michaud. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport, at 10:00 AM.
