Rita I. (Malenfant) Miranda

Rita I. (Malenfant) Miranda, 84, of Florida, formerly of Fall River, widow of Roland Miranda, died Sunday, March 28, 2010. She was employed by Kerr Thread and Elbe File and Binder and was a member of the 707 Club of Milliken Apartments. She leaves a daughter, Carol Rogers and her husband Richard of Seffner, FL; grandchildren, Jessica Marie Smith Clayton and her husband Leo and Justin Spencer Smith; 2 great-granddaughters, Paige Rogers and Savannah Clayton; siblings, Roland Malenfant of Fall River and Estelle Oliveira Ramos of Westport, MA and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Cyprien "Sam" and Josephine (Tetreault) Malenfant and the sister of the late Adrienne Roberts, Agnes Costa, Albert Malenfant, Florence Babey, Lina Thibodeau, Mary Kay and Omer Malenfant. A graveside service will be held Friday morning at 10:00 AM in Notre Dame Cemetery. Relatives and friends invited. Visitation and flowers omitted.
