Rita G. (Chapdelaine) Mcgrady

Rita G. (Chapdelaine) McGrady, 91, of Hanover St., Fall River, wife of Joseph F. McGrady, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013. A devoted wife and mother, she and her husband wintered in Marco Island, Florida for many years. Besides her husband of 69 years, she leaves 4 children, Joseph F. "Jay" McGrady and his wife Kathleen of Woodstock, CT, Janice Milligan and her husband James of Londonderry, NH, David McGrady and his wife Teresa of Tulare, CA and Jeffrey McGrady and his wife Lisa of Springfield, MA; grandchildren, Sheila Kurtz, Michael McGrady, Kelly Bryan, John, Jay and Christopher Vogel, Melissa Ivan, Erin Willis, Megan Murphy and Shaun and Jared McGrady; 18 great-grandchildren; a sister, Violet Synnott of Baltic, CT; many nieces and nephews and her comforting and supportive friends Cindy and Mike. She was the daughter of the late Omer and Florida (Lapierre) Chapdelaine and the sister of the late Eddy, Raymond and Normand Chapdelaine. Her funeral will be held Monday at 10:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Name Church at 11:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Sunday 3:00 to 7:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
