Rita (Ballard) Ledoux

Rita (Ballard) Ledoux, 83, of Oliver St., Fall River, formerly of Robeson St., died Friday, December 30, 2005 at Saint Anne's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Royal G. "Roy" Ledoux, Sr. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Hector and Marie Louise (Daignault) Ballard, she lived in Fall River most of her life. A member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union-UNITE, she had worked in the garment industry for many years. She was past-president of the Highland Heights Senior Citizens Club. Survivors include a daughter, Claire King and her husband Thomas of Somerset; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Royal G. Ledoux, Jr. and George D. Ledoux and the sister of the late Juliette Rapoza and Hector Ballard. Her funeral will be held Monday at 9:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 10:00. Calling hours Sunday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
