Rita (Mccarthy) Larrabee

Rita A. (McCarthy) Larrabee, 71 of Fall River, died Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Robert J. Larrabee. A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Beatrice (Carreira) McCarthy. A member of Good Shepherd Parish and International Ladies Garment Workers Union-UNITE, she was employed by the Lamport and Carousel manufacturing companies. Besides her husband of 50 years, survivors include 2 sons, Robert J. Larrabee and his wife Jane of Cranston, RI and Richard J. Larrabee of Fall River; 3 grandchildren, Crystal R., Sara Lynn and Lisa Lynn Larrabee; 3 sisters, her twin, Theresa McCabe of Kissimmee, FL and Patricia Fitzgerald and Delia Marie "Dee" Therrien, both of Fall River; a brother Edward McCarthy of Kissimmee and nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be held Saturday at 8:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Good Shepherd Church at 9:00. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
