Rita T. (Laplante) King

Rita T. (LaPlante) King, 86, of Somerset, widow of Maurice B. King, Jr., died Wednesday, May 28, 2008. She was employed by the Raytheon Co., Portsmouth, RI. She leaves 3 children, Maurice B. King, III and his wife Sandra of Pocasset, Dennis H. King and his wife Bernice of Somerset and James E. King and his wife Sandra of So. Dartmouth; grandchildren, Karen M. King Meyer (husband Chad), Denise M. King Fudge (husband Brian), Meghan K. King and Bryan S. King; great-grandchildren, Adeline M. Meyer, Carter M. Fudge and Corinne M. Meyer and several nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Henri LaPlante and Annie (Ouellette) LaPlante Langlais and the sister of the late Lorraine Gagnon, Yvette Newman, Adrien LaPlante and George Langlais. Her funeral service will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. Visitation, Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday prior to the service from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA AND BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
