Rita M. (Kenney) Hedger Berube

Rita M. (Kenney) Hedger Berube, 81, of Tiverton, wife of Maurice A. "Mike" Berube, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021.

She was a former employee of Mullen Jewelers and Merri Card Shop. She loved being creative, playing Words With Friends, spending time with her dogs, children, great-grandchildren and prided herself on her cooking.

Besides her husband of 44 years, she leaves two daughters, Debra A. Hedger (wife Regina Beland) and Dawn M. Clarke (husband Ray); two grandchildren, Meagen Otis (husband Kyle) and Benjamin Wyatt (wife Martina); two great-grandchildren, Ella and Liam Otis; two siblings, Robert Kenney and Jacqueline Counts and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Russell Kenney and the daughter of the late Joseph and Rita (Pelland) Kenney. She was the former spouse of the late Vernon Hedger.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Theresa's Church, Tiverton.
