Rita (Alexander) Ford

Rita (Alexander) Ford, 70, of 1748 Highland Ave., Fall River, died Thursday, January 11, 2006 at Saint Anne's Hospital. She was the former wife of the late Donald Ford. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Manuel and Florence (Guilmette) Alexander, she lived in Fall River for many years and in Somerset for several years. She is survived by 2 daughters, Donna Graybill and her husband Mike of Woodruff, SC and Suzette Mello of Fall River; a son, Billy Ford and his wife Jill of Georgia; a sister, Jean Bisson and her husband Paul of Tiverton, RI; a brother, Manuel Alexander of Providence, RI; 10 grandchildren, Quinn and Arielle Graybill, Maxwell, Camden, Garett and Chancey Ford and Christie, Rebecca, Casey and Jeffrey Mello: a great-granddaughter, Hailey Mello and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Pauline Alexander Desmarais. Private funeral arrangements are with the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River.
