Rita (Barrette) Cousineau, 85, of Brayton Ave., Fall River, formerly of Tiverton, widow of Rouville Z. "Pop" Cousineau, died Monday, September 8, 2008.
A retired garment worker, she was a member of UNITE and St. Jean Baptiste Parish Bowling League.
She leaves 4 children, Annette Lapointe and her husband Henri, Raymond Cousineau and his wife Laura and Roger Cousineau and his wife Muriel, all of Fall River and Dennis Cousineau of Fall River and his wife Debra of Somerset; 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Louise (Adams) Barrette, the grandmother of the late Bryon Cousineau and the sister of the late Charles, Leo and Henry Barrette, Yvonne Sirois, Blandine DeMille, Alexandrina Bosse and Mary Lescault. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church at 10:00 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation, Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
