Rita S. (Lanciault) Banville

Rita S. (Lanciault) Banville, 89, of Somerset, widow of Robert R. Banville and mother of the late David R. Banville, died Friday, May 15, 2015. A Ceramic Art Instructor, she operated the Rita Banville Ceramic Studio for 34 years and was also employed by Arkwright Finishing Co. for 25 years. A graduate of BMC Durfee High School, she studied at the former F. G. Allen Business School and Bradford Durfee College of Technology. She leaves a brother, Armand Lanciault of Wintersville, Ohio and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Rosanna (Benoit) Lanciault and the sister of the late Alma Lavoie and Paul Lanciault. Her funeral will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Louis de France Church, Swansea, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private. Visitation, Monday morning prior to the funeral from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. LARGE PARKING AREA & BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
