Richard Rego

Richard Rego, 76, of Montaup St., Fall River, husband of the late Cecile (Bouchard) Rego, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, February 20, 2013. He had been employed by the Fall River Streets and Highways Division, Westport Factory and Somerset Village and was presently a crossing guard at the Carlton Viveiros Elementary School. He enjoyed time spent with his daughter especially attending Pawtucket Red Sox games and playing miniature golf and was a fan of classic movies and western serials. He leaves a daughter Irene Carol Rego of Fall River; a brother, Ronald Rego of Assonet; "Oreo" and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late John and Irene (Silvia) Rego and the brother of the late William Rego. Visitation, Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River with a funeral service at 6:30 PM. Cremation to follow. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Donations, in lieu of flowers, to be used according to the family's wishes, appreciated.
