Richard A. Rebello, 76, of "Country Gardens", Swansea, formerly of Somerset, husband of the late Annette (Marois) Rebello, died Monday, November 8, 2010. He served with Battery B, Massachusetts Army National Guard, was employed by J & J Corrugated Box Co. for many years, then Southeast Container Division of Rand & Whitney in Taunton and Bay State Container in Norwood, and owned and operated Somerset Pet Center in Fall River and Somerset for many years, retiring in 1996. A musician, he played steel guitar with "The Pearl Harbor Hawaiians" and "The Silvertones" He leaves 3 children, Wayne A. Rebello of Fall River, and Kevin P. Rebello and his wife Charlene, and Lisa A. Bergeron and her husband Robert, all of Somerset; grandchildren, Alicia Albernaz and her husband Artie, Bobby Bergeron and Sarah, Matthew, Daniel and Elizabeth Rebello; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Michael and Madalynn; siblings, Dorothy Almeida and Sandra Whitener, both of Swansea and Robert S. Rebello of Fall River; and nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Friday at 9:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Thomas More Church, Somerset, at 10:30 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. Visitation, Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
